Astronomy Division

This page is for all things astronomy! See the planned events section for a list of planned astronomy activities, events, talks and other opportunities. You will also find a section on the BU observatory! We have access to a dome and observing deck here at Bishop's. We might as well take advantage of it!

Here are a list of astronomy events that we plan to organize:

• Observation Nights: Join us on the roof of the Nicholl's building and see the planets and stars! Telescopes and binoculars provided!
  
• Crater sketching: Come and draw craters and other astronomical objects with us. Everyone is welcome!
  
• Field trip to Mont-Megantic: Peer through the telescope at the Mont-Megantic observatory and maybe even hike up the mountain on the way!
